India: Nymbus charging network launched

Panasonic, in cooperation with SmartE and qQuick, has launched a new EV charging network for India named Nymbus. In the first phase, Panasonic will deploy the service on 150 SmartE electric three-wheelers and on 25 qQuick two-wheelers in the Delhi-NCR region.

Penkse Truck opens 14 DC fast chargers in California

Penske Truck Leasing has opened what it considers to be the “first DC fast charging stations in the U.S. designed specifically for heavy-duty commercial electric vehicles”. The first 14 rapid chargers stand at four of Penske’s facilities in Southern California.

UK: 17MW virtual power plant to utilise EV batteries

London-based Moixa plans to develop a virtual power plant (VPP) that will combine solar panels, batteries and electric vehicles. The VPP could include hundreds of households, schools and other facilities in southern England and Moixa aims to eventually scale the network up to 17 MW.

Skoda planning 7,000 factory charging points
