NewMotion signs V2X agreement with Amsterdam
NewMotion has signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the EVS32 with the City of Amsterdam, and a number of other public and private companies to develop Vehicle-to-Anything (V2X) technology. The partners are planning the commercial introduction of V2X technologies in projects linking electric vehicles with energy systems in the Amsterdam area.

Tesla claims discrimination by NY courts
The Californian EV manufacturer says they face discrimination by New York’s infrastructure policies, as they only provide initiatives for providers that support both CHAdeMO and CCS. Clearly Tesla does not feel they should have to upgrade their chargers.
Zero emissions musicians on the road
The Philadelphia area musicians Rick Denzien and Debra Lee are convinced electric mobilists. On their last tour, the self-declared Zero Emission Musicians travelled a solid 8,070 miles in their Tesla Model 3 on their way to California and back, visiting over 50 superchargers.
PSA adds options for electric car drivers to Free2Move
The PSA Group is adding new features to its Free2move mobility service for electric vehicle users. The new ‘Charging Pass’ feature helps to locate and unlock over 85,000 charging stations in Europe. There is also a novel route planner designed for electric cars.
Allego joins Shell & Visa enabling contactless payment
Charging infrastructure provider Allego has launched a global scheme for contactless payment. The first such charging station opened in London today, where Allego works with Shell. A newly developed and certified standard enables payment via EMV (Europay, Mastercard, Visa) with just a touch (NFC).

While the government of Wales is promoting the use of low emission vehicles and spent £2 million on EV charging points, they are not putting their money where their mouth is.
PlugSurfing adds Freshmile charge points in France
Berlin startup PlugSurfing now includes the 2,000 charging points of Freshmile in France and Germany in their portfolio. The cooperation stretches over 100 local networks and will enable electric car drivers to use their PlugSurfing RFID key widely.

24 Hour Electric Vehicle Charging Challenge.
In Minneapolis, 85 electric cars were fast charged during 24 hours at one charging station in an attempt to set a new world record. If the ’24 Hour Electric Vehicle Charging Challenge’ was successful in setting a new mark remains yet to be seen.
