NFI & Li-Cycle to cooperate on battery recycling
In North America, bus manufacturer NFI Group and recycling company Li-Cycle are cooperating to offer battery recycling to public transport customers there. The partnership builds on a successful pilot e-bus battery recycling programme between NFI subsidiary New Flyer and Li-Cycle.

LG Energy Solution to source Australian nickel & cobalt
LG Energy Solution has concluded a binding long-term purchase agreement with Australian Mines for nickel and cobalt. The battery manufacturer thus secures access to 71,000 tonnes of nickel and 7,000 tonnes of cobalt for six years from the end of 2024.

Stellantis to source batteries from SVOLT
From 2025, Stellantis will also source its batteries for electric cars from SVOLT.
