Allego expands fast charging at ATU branches in Germany

Allego will set up fast-charging stations for electric cars with a charging capacity of at least 150 kW at 400 additional ATU locations in Germany. The construction of around 900 new charging points is to begin this year with the expansion of the charging network at 85 ATU locations.

Fraunhofer studies European truck charging

Fraunhofer ISI has analysed the GPS coordinates of around 400,000 trucks from seven manufacturers in operation across Europe. The result is meant to help governments and infrastructure operators set priorities for the installation of charging points for electric trucks.

Xcharge presents Net Zero ‘smart’ fast charging

The Chinese charging infrastructure manufacturer Xcharge has presented its latest product line Net Zero, which is also to be launched in Europe. The fast charging solution offers up to 210 kW of power for parallel charging of up to two electric cars and is equipped with batteries from BYD as buffer storage.

Fastned to install 13 HPC parks in Belgium

The Dutch Fastned has received approval for 13 motorway sites in Belgium. The High Power Chargers, designed for a charging capacity of up to 350 kW, are to be installed on existing parking areas directly on the most important motorways.
