Bolt set to expand with €150m investment
The Estonian mobility company Bolt Technology is going to invest more than 150 million euros this year to expand its e-scooter and e-bike business. By the end of this year, Bolt aims to expand its fleet to more than 230,000 micromobility vehicles in over 250 cities across Europe.

Correos puts out tender for 800 electric motorbikes in Spain
The Spanish postal service Correos have launched a tender to expand its delivery fleet with 800 new electric motorbikes. Of these, 700 will be two-wheeled and 100 three-wheeled electric motorbikes. Correos wants to lease the vehicles over a period of 60 months.

CityBike & Vaimoo bring 5100 e-bikes to Stockholm
In Sweden, the Spanish micromobility company CityBike Global has signed an agreement with the city of Stockholm to implement one of the largest e-bike sharing services in Europe. The plan is to deliver over 5,100 e-bikes to the Swedish capital.

VOI Technology is apparently operating its electric kick scooter rental service completely emission-free in a trial city through the use of electric transporters and cargo pedelecs. Tier Mobility and Circ are also using new electric kick scooters with replaceable batteries.

Germany paves way for electric micro-mobilty
The German federal cabinet has passed the long-announced Small Electric Vehicle Ordinance (eKFV). Now it is up to the federal council to take the next steps. It could adopt the new regulations on 17 May so that the regulation would enter into force this spring.

Sweden introduces grants for light electric vehicles
The Swedish government is about to launch a programme to encourage people to buy light electric two-, three- and four-wheelers. Thus, clients of an eligible vehicle get payed back 25 percent of the purchase price (maximum 10,000 krona).
