Tesla in taxi trouble in Holland
The Dutch cab company Bios-Groep that uses around 70 Tesla cabs at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport has now had enough of the electric car manufacturer’s persistent technical defects and poor service. The company is going to court and is demanding 1.3 million euros in damages from Tesla.
NewMotion signs V2X agreement with Amsterdam
NewMotion has signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the EVS32 with the City of Amsterdam, and a number of other public and private companies to develop Vehicle-to-Anything (V2X) technology. The partners are planning the commercial introduction of V2X technologies in projects linking electric vehicles with energy systems in the Amsterdam area.
FastNed switching to kWh billing model in May
Fastned will change billing at its mainland European fast-charging stations to kWh prices on 1 May. At all Fastned charging points in Germany, 59 cents per kilowatt hour will be charged starting next month, while in their native Netherlands, they are already offering the same deal.
Fastned opens second HPC location in Germany
The Dutch HPC company Fastned has opened their second high power charging station in Germany on the A33 near Paderborn. Furthermore, the company are finding success with their legal claim against Shell charging stations.
Netherlands discussing 100 measures for cleaner air
The Dutch are discussing an extensive series of measures to improve air quality in Holland. The approx. 100 measures include investing in charging infrastructure for EVs as well as options to incentivise the driving of EVs, such as reduced parking fees.
