Nikola Motor founds hydrogen energy brand HYLA
HYLA is Nikola Motor’s new brand for the company’s energy products and is charged with producing, distributing and dispensing hydrogen to fuel its zero-emissions trucks. Five sites in the US have been designated to develop access to up to 300 metric tons per day of hydrogen.

Nikola Motor & E.ON team up on H2 refuelling in Europe
E.ON and Nikola want to jointly drive the decarbonisation of heavy-duty transport with hydrogen refuelling infrastructure. The collaboration plans to establish a hydrogen supply and related infrastructure that caters to the needs of fuel cell truck operators.

Funding granted for 1,200 low- and zero-emission buses in Germany
The German Federal Ministry of Digital Affairs and Transport (BMDV) has handed over funding certificates to 41 more public transport authorities. With these commitments, around 1,200 additional low- and zero-emission buses are to be procured and put into operation across the country.

Hyzon & John G Russell Transport team up on H2 trucks

Airbus forges ahead with zero-emission aviation
Airbus has just unveiled concrete plans for zero-emission aviation with a new generation of the battery-electric CityAirbus. Meanwhile, the aircraft manufacturer has signed an MoU with Air New Zealand to research hydrogen-fuelled aircraft, while in Europe Airbus will focus on hydrogen aviation infrastructure with Air Liquide and airport operator Vinci by 2030.
