Austin Texas orders 26 Proterra e-buses
Proterra has announced that Capital Metro in Austin, Texas is purchasing 26 40-foot Proterra ZX5 Max electric transit buses, with an option for another 126 of these buses plus chargers over the next 5 years. The first 26 electric buses should be delivered in 2022.
Momentum delivers 300 kW inductive charging
In the US state of Washington, Momentum Dynamics has installed three additional inductive charging systems for the Link Transit authority electric bus fleet in Wenatchee. Charging capacities of up to 300 kW mean that electric buses can be charged wirelessly within a few minutes.

Temsa wins tender for electric buses in Romania
After having won a tender held in Buzău, Romania, the Turkish bus manufacturer Temsa today announced that it will now deliver four Avenue Electron buses by the end of 2021. The delivery also includes the procurement of two 150kw and 480kw charging stations to the city.
California: SCE adresses commercial vehicle market
The utility company, Southern California Edison (SCE) has launched the Charge Ready Transport programme with a budget of around $356 million USD. The scheme offers commercial clients the installation of charging stations for medium- and heavy-duty electric vehicles for free and some rebates on top.
LA targets 100% electric vehicles by 2050
Los Angeles Mayor, Eric Garcetti has just introduced a target for the eradication of CO2 emissions in all transport, housing, industrial and governmental applications by 2050. By 2025, electric vehicles in the city shall increase by 25% and 80% by 2035.
