Daimler Buses gets major eCitaro G order from Germany
Daimler Buses has received a significant order to deliver up to 75 electric buses with fuel cell range extenders. The German transport operator Rhein-Neckar-Verkehr (RNV) is an existing customer and says the new buses will help operations enter a new phase of electrification.

Mazda announces two new PHEV crossovers incoming
Mazda is expanding its model range in Europe and worldwide from 2022: With the CX-60 and CX-80, the Japanese manufacturer plans to introduce two new crossover models in Europe in the next two years, which will also be available as plug-in hybrids. Tevva receives multi-million £ budget for truck development
UK electric truck manufacturer Tevva has secured a £4.2 million (just under €5 million) grant from the Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC) to develop the next generation of medium-duty electric trucks with fuel cell range extenders and gross vehicle weights between 7.5 and 19 tonnes.

Tevva presents 7.5 tonne truck with range extender
The English company Tevva has presented a 7.5-tonne truck that is supposed to have a range of up to 250 kilometres in electric drive mode and a range of up to 500 kilometres with the FC range extender activated. Production of the Tevva truck is scheduled to start in July 2022.

Mazda considers dropping range extender from the MX-30
Mazda is apparently backing away from the plan to soon follow its first purely electric MX-30 series model with another variant with a Wankel engine as a range extender. Although the manufacturer confirms that the range extender will not be coming soon, it is officially sticking to the project.

FC specialist Loop Energy launches cooperation in Germany
