BearingPoint’s solution, which is based on ETM.next, is integrated into SAP E-Mobility, thus supporting fleet managers in companies and commercial enterprises in driving forward their electromobility and enabling charging point operators (CPOs) to manage their facilities holistically.

According to the initiators, the platform consolidates vehicle and charging infrastructure management into a single interface, improving both operational and cost efficiency. It provides end-to-end functionality – from fleet and charge card management to monitoring EVSEs (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment) and tracking charging operations, including providing data for ESG reporting requirements.

BearingPoint lauds multiple aspects of the system, including cost efficiency, end-to-end automated charging processes, TCO optimisation, comprehensive asset management and customisation, as well as value-added services.

“With this solution, we are addressing a crucial need for businesses transitioning to electromobility in a rapidly evolving and currently fragmented market. The solution not only improves charging infrastructure management but also unlocks new efficiencies and cost savings for our clients. It is a game-changer for fleet operators looking to future-proof their mobility strategies,” said Nina London, Partner at BearingPoint.

BearingPoint is based in Berlin, Germany, and has dealings all over the globe, according to the company’s own statements. In total, it employs over 13,000 persons across 70 countries, covering the core business areas of Consulting, Products and Capital.

SAP has been active in the e-mobility business for some time, recently announcing that Amperfied would be taking over management of its charging infrastructure, but also is running a roaming alliance with the French company Girevey V2G projects in Germanyentre otras cosas.
