Alpine announces UK prices for the A390
As mentioned above, the Alpine A390 will be priced from £61,390 on-the-road when order books officially open in the UK “in early 2026,” as the manufacturer writes. This will have to happen soon, as the first customer deliveries of the electric sports fastback are planned to begin in Spring. The vehicle is launching in three different variants, with the base ‘GT’ version starting at the price above, which then goes up to £65,390 for the ‘Premiere Edition’, followed by the range-topping ‘GTS’ version, which starts from £69,390.
Prices for the electric car were announced in mainland Europe towards the end of last year, starting from €67,500, when the order books were opened in November.

Except for the change of the driver’s side, the vehicle’s stats should remain the same: The A390 is based on the AmpR Medium platform, which it shares with the Renault Scénic E-Tech Eléctrico and the new Nissan Leaf. All three versions available at launch, including the base version, use three electric motors, delivering a combined output of 295 kW in the A390 GT.
With 661 Nm of torque, the 2.1-tonne crossover accelerates from 0 to 100 kph in 4.8 seconds and is electronically limited to 200 kph. The stats for the ‘GT’ and ‘Premiere Edition’ vehicles are identical in terms of performance, but the ‘Premiere Edition’ offers more comfort features, such as heated seats and active driver assistance, as well as hands-free parking and a 22kW three-phase AC charger with bidirectional charging.
For the GTS variant, the stats are even more impressive, as according to the announcement, the new Alpine A390 delivers up to 345 kW and 824 Nm in torque, and can accelerate from 0–62mph in 3.9 seconds. The range is stated to be up to 312 miles here, down from the 345 miles on the basic version. All variants share the same 89 kWh battery.
Regarding the available colour spectrum, Alpine notes: “Six body colours are available from launch, starting with Blanc Topaze, followed by Noir Profond, Argent Mercure, Bleu Abysse, Bleu Alpine Vision, and Gris Tonnerre Matte – a special Atelier finish available on GT and GTS. A contrasting black roof can be added for £1,000 on both the GT and GTS.”
Nic Burnside, Brand Director, Alpine, further commented: “With its blend of expressive design, bespoke electric performance and the dynamic spirit that defines every Alpine, the A390 marks an important step in the brand’s transition to a fully electric future – one that remains firmly centred on driving pleasure.”
