Turkey test.

This might be one of the weirdest collision tests ever done. In “honour” of Thanksgiving, two 15 pound (dead) turkeys were placed on the road to simulate a young child that may have fallen. The collision avoidance software in the Model S did not detect the birds and the driver had to slam on the breaks. If that’s really a representative testing method…?
