A European Union spokeswoman denied a report in German Handelsblatt that cited EU sources as saying the European Commission wanted to set a quota for electric cars from 2025.

Ferrari president Sergio Marchionne does not plan to follow Formula 1 rival Mercedes in to Formula E with Ferrari, but he is open to entering another FCA brand but would not clarify which that might be.
