The model will offer a manufacturer-estimated all-electric range of up to 290 miles (467 km) and a combined system output of 338 hp, with dual eAxles providing standard all-wheel drive. Equipped with a 74.7-kWh lithium-ion battery pack mounted underfloor, the C-HR BEV completes the sprint from 0–60 mph (0–96 kph) in approximately five seconds.

A battery pre-conditioning system is included to optimise DC fast charging performance in low temperatures. DC charging is available via the newly adopted NACS port, allowing compatibility with a wide range of public fast chargers. Toyota specifies DC charging for 10–80% battery capacity in around 30 minutes under ideal conditions. AC charging is supported via an 11kW onboard charger, compatible with both Level 1 and Level 2 infrastructure. Remote charging functionality is integrated via the Toyota app, allowing users to monitor and schedule charging sessions.

The model’s compact footprint (4.52 m long, 1.87 m wide, 1.62 m high) supports a versatile interior with 25.4 cubic feet (720 litres) of cargo space behind the rear seats. Key interior features include dual wireless phone chargers, a 14-inch multimedia touchscreen, and a fully digital instrument cluster. The Toyota Audio Multimedia system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 comes standard, featuring Pre-Collision System, Lane Tracing Assist, Road Sign Assist, Automatic High Beams, and Proactive Driving Assist. Additional systems include Traffic Jam Assist, Lane Change Assist, Front Cross-Traffic Alert, and Safe Exit Alert. The C-HR BEV is also equipped with the Star Safety System, including stability and traction control, ABS, EBD, and Smart Stop Technology.

Offered in SE and XSE trims, the C-HR BEV will include options such as 20-inch wheels, digital rear-view mirror, panoramic view monitor, and two-tone exterior paint. Toyota expects the new all-electric C-HR to arrive at US dealerships in 2026. The carmaker has yet to communicate a price for the 2026 model year.
