DKV integrates MOVE charging points in Switzerland
The DKV Mobility charging network recently surpassed the one million charging point mark in Europe. Around 14,000 of these are located in Switzerland. With the new roaming agreement, 2,200 charging points from MOVE Mobility are now being added – with many of these primarily being DC charging points. According to DKV’s announcement, around 2,000 of the 2,200 charging points are classified as fast or ultra-fast charging points with a capacity of up to 150 kW. DKV aims to offer its customers “even greater charging coverage along important transport routes.”
From a purely technical standpoint, MOVE Mobility’s charging points are connected via the software platform of DKV subsidiary Greenflux. The Amsterdam-based Charge Point Management System (CPMS) provider operates the platform through which DKV Mobility customers can charge their electric vehicles. GreenFlux recently signed a cooperation agreement with MOVE Mobility.
“The cooperation with MOVE Mobility is another important step on our path to making electric mobility easily and efficiently accessible to our customers throughout Europe,” says Sven Mehringer, Managing Director at DKV Mobility responsible for Energy & Vehicle Services. “The high concentration of fast charge points in the MOVE Mobility network offers real added value for anyone relying on fast charging times.”
