The agreement covers comprehensive charge point management software, including backend operations, driver-facing payment solutions and roaming functionality. By integrating Monta’s end-to-end platform, evyve will gain real-time monitoring, automation and operational control to support network growth while maintaining high reliability and uptime standards.

According to the companies, this will enable evyve to improve operational efficiency, maximise network performance and deliver a consistent charging experience for drivers as usage increases. The partnership comes as reliability and uptime have become central challenges for the UK’s public charging sector. CPOs are under growing pressure to ensure high availability and seamless interoperability across networks.

“Selecting the right technology partner was critical to our growth strategy,” said James Moat, CEO of evyve. “Monta’s end-to-end platform gives us the operational efficiency, scalability, and reliability we need to deliver on our promise of fast, dependable charging for drivers across the UK.” He added that the platform’s integrated approach to charge point management and real-time monitoring would allow evyve to expand its network while maintaining high service standards.

“The UK’s charging landscape is evolving, with challenges around uptime, performance and real time monitoring,” sid Jon Evans, UK market lead at Monta. “By partnering with evyve, we are bringing together a forward-thinking operator to meet these demands, enabling a consistently dependable charging experience.” He added that Monta’s platform would provide the operational visibility and automation required to scale while meeting regulatory and performance benchmarks.

evyve is developing a network of customer-focused charging hubs designed to support the wider adoption of electric vehicles, with sites located at retail and leisure destinations, business parks and roadside locations. The company plans to expand its network to around 1,000 rapid and ultra-rapid charge points across the UK by 2028.
