Fastned app users now get 10% EV charging discount
The 10 percent discount is available at all 400 Fastned fast-charging stations, which span nine European countries. To qualify for the price reduction, customers must set a debit or credit card as their default payment method in the Fastned app. The discount is available to both existing and new customers—and without any monthly subscription fee. “Customers who regularly charge at Fastned receive an additional reward for their loyalty—completely without subscription commitments,” Fastned stated in an accompanying announcement. The Dutch company did not specify an end date for the discount campaign.
So what does the discount actually mean for your wallet? According to the Fastned app, the charging price drops from the regular 73 cents/kWh to 65 cents/kWh. For those paying a monthly subscription fee of €11.99, Fastned will charge 51 cents/kWh with the discount. In addition to the direct price advantage, EV drivers can use the app to plan routes and access the Autocharge function, which automatically starts charging sessions after a one-time registration. Fastned emphasises that the 10% discount applies equally, whether the charging session is initiated via the app or through an Autocharge session.
“At Fastned, our priority is to make fast charging as convenient and straightforward as possible for everyday use. To achieve this, we need comprehensive charging infrastructure with an excellent customer experience, fair prices, and no long-term commitments,” says Linda Boll, Country Director of Fastned Germany. “As more EV drivers choose us across borders as their preferred fast-charging partner, we want to create an additional attractive offer through our app discount to support these everyday needs,” Boll added.
