Togg plans to increase production to 60,000 electric cars and announces a new model
The figures were revealed by Fuat Tosyalı, Chairman of the Board of Togg, during an interview on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum. He also stated that Togg has now surpassed the milestone of 100,000 deliveries since the launch of its first model, the T10X, in spring 2023.
Initially, the vehicles were only available in Turkey until the company began its international expansion in September 2025, starting with its market entry in Germany. The company chose Germany as its first foreign market due to its large population of people with Turkish roots, which presents significant potential to attract buyers with ties to their homeland.
In the interview, Tosyalı stated that Togg’s target for 2026 is to produce 60,000 units or more, with an annual production capacity of 100,000 units set to be achieved by the end of 2027. Ultimately, the factory in Gemlik, Bursa Province, is expected to reach a capacity of 175,000 vehicles per year. To optimise plant utilisation, Togg has expanded its portfolio: in addition to the battery-electric SUV T10X, the company recently introduced the battery-electric saloon T10F, unveiled at IAA Mobility. The T10F became the most frequently registered new electric vehicle in Turkey in December, with 5,345 units registered.
As early as 2027, Togg plans to introduce a third model, the T6, according to Fuat Tosyalı. This model is expected to be significantly more affordable and appeal to a broader target group. Little is known about the model so far, though it is likely to be positioned in the A or B segment. A model range divided into F and X variants—such as a saloon T6F and a potential SUV T6X—is also conceivable. This possibility is at least suggested by trademark applications filed by the company across Europe in 2023.
Previously, it had been suggested that the third model would be an SUV named T8X—which, according to the naming logic, would sit in size between a potential T6X and the original T10X. Additionally, Turkish media have reported on a premium series called T12, which is said to be part of Togg’s roadmap.
It has already been confirmed that Togg plans to launch in France, Italy, the Netherlands, and Sweden following its market entry in Germany. Togg’s overarching goal is to sell one million electric vehicles across all model ranges by 2032.
