MAN and the large haulage company Dettendorfer are demonstrating the potential of electric trucks on the Brenner Pass route as part of a four-week field test. An electric truck saves 95 tonnes of CO2 per year and is particularly economical on this route due to the high level of recuperation and lower toll costs.
