Ionity to install Alpitronic’s first megawatt chargers in 2025

Fast-charging joint venture Ionity will become the first charge point operator to deploy Alpitronic’s new HYC1000 megawatt charging system. Despite the use of the term ‘megawatt charging’, this rollout does not involve MCS charging for electric trucks but is aimed at passenger EVs.
