Nissan and E.On work on EV-based energy services

In Geneva, German energy provider E.On and Nissan have entered into a strategic partnership as both consider to jointly kick-off pilot projects and common commercial offers in fields such as V2G, decentralised energy production and storage as well as the grid integration of Nissan EVs.

BMW i Vision Dynamics will go serial as BMW i4

BMW confirms that its EV concept BMW i Vision Dynamics – first unveiled at the IAA 2017 – will go serial. The model will be produced in Munich under the name BMW i4. However, a time schedule has not yet been released.

Jeep to add PHEVs to all of its upcoming model series

The off-road vehicle manufacturer wants to create a PHEV version of every model launched from 2020, reports Autocar referring to CEO Mike Manley. Already this year, the brand introduces mild hybrids in all of its series. An all-electric Jeep model is likely to come, too – but rather beyond 2020.

Details about BMW’s future electric line-up

BMW has skipped its plans for an electric i5 and i9 but seeks to replace the latter through a smaller but spacious i7. That is at least what Georg Kacher says, known as insider to the branch. Moreover, the BMW i3 shall get a successor called iX1.
