Keolis deploys more than 240 e-buses in the Netherlands

Keolis Nederland has put 246 all-electric buses into operation in the provinces of Gelderland and Overijssel. This is the bulk of the order for 259 e-buses awarded to BYD at the end of 2019. The remaining 13 battery buses are scheduled for delivery in spring 2021.

Hyundai: 12 BEV by 2025; launches fuel cell brand HTWO

Hyundai plans to introduce at least 12 battery-electric models by 2025, according to the updated ‘Strategy 2025’. This includes Hyundai to rely on the new 800-volt platform E-GMP which the carmaker will first use to power the Ioniq 5 next year.

Ford Otosan adds battery assembly at Turkey plant

Ford Otosan, a joint venture of Turkish Koç Holding and Ford, began building a battery assembly factory for electric vehicles in Turkey. Completion is scheduled for 2022. The company produces the Ford Custom PHEV in the country and started production of the E-Transit recently.

Swiss town moves ahead with full fleet electrification
