Negotiations on the exact contents of the EU Commission's 'Automotive Package' continued down to the wire. While the once-fixed CO2 target for 2035 has been softened, it comes with several important conditions and additional regulations. We summarise what has been decided, outline the implications, and highlight where critical information is still missing.
