France: Carmakers agree to supplement eMobility
The French government and major carmakers have agreed to subsidise the switch from fossil fuel powered cars to electric vehicles. The manufacturers will thus supplement France’s scrappage scheme so that it can be raised and extended in 2019.

CARB approves $483 million budget for 2018-19
The California Air Resources Board (CARB) has approved a 483 million dollar budget for the 2018 to 2019 fiscal period. The budget will be used to fund clean vehicle rebates, zero emission public transport and logistics and other mobility pilot projects.

EU agrees on draft for emissions limits for trucks
The EU Parliament’s environmental committee has made the first step towards a legal CO2 emission limit for trucks. The plan to reduce CO2 emissions by 35% from trucks by 2035 has been approved, with an interim goal of 20% set for 2025.

Denmark aiming for decarbonisation of transport
The Danish government presented a new climate action plan with 38 measures, among them the previously leaked ban on the sales of all ICEs by 2030 and hybrid cars by 2035. In addition, the Danes will electrify their entire taxi and bus fleet by 2030 and are ready to spend millions.

EU member states toughen CO2 emission stance – a bit
35 percent – this is the value the ministers of the 28 EU member states managed to agree on during their long hours of negotiating limits of carbon dioxide emissions of new cars. The measure will only come into effect by 2030 and still has to pass Parliament.

EU Commission to invest €700M in greener transport

EU lawmakers push for stricter CO2 regulation
A majority of EU Parliamentarians backed a more ambitious target to cut CO2 emissions from cars and vans. MEPs voted for a 40 percent target by 2030, thus setting the stage for tough negotiations with national governments and introducing an EV sales quota through the backdoor.

Denmark to ban sales on petrol and diesel cars by 2030

CARB announces up to $205 million in EV grants
The California Air Resources Board (CARB) has announced up to $205 million in grants for projects to accelerate the adoption of clean freight technologies and improving air quality in the state. Scotland mobilises millions for e-mobility

Tesla feels discriminated against by Ontario
The new conservative Ontario government cancelled the previous administrations EV subsidies for drivers in July. Unlike other car manufacturers, apparently this was only effective immediately for Tesla. The Californians are now taking legal action against this.
