Battery startup Echion and leading niobium products manufacturer CBMM have opened a plant to produce the former’s proprietary ultra-fast charging XNO. Echion wants to use the product to reduce the charging time of Li-ion batteries while delivering high power across a cycle life of more than 10,000 cycles.
