Airbus subsidiary AALTO tests Amprius SiCore cells in the stratosphere

California-based battery developer Amprius has delivered high-performance cells from its pilot line in Fremont to several customers for drones and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This includes Airbus subsidiary AALTO, which is testing the cells in the Zephyr reconnaissance drone at an altitude of over 20km.
