Company cars: How European governments are subsidising pollution and climate change

Subsidies for company cars cost European taxpayers €32Bn every year with almost the entire amount being spent on climate-damaging combustion engines. Transport & Environment, which commissioned the study from Dataforce, states that governments should end VAT deductions and depreciation on fossil-fuel vehicles and instead convert company fleets to zero-emission vehicles.
