Electric vans cheaper overall than diesel
Summary
On average, electric transporters are already 25 per cent cheaper per kilometre to purchase and operate than an average diesel van. This is the conclusion of a study published by the organisation Transport & Environment (T&E), which examined six countries in which 76 per cent of all new van sales in Europe are made: France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain and the United Kingdom.
