The myth of climate-friendly diesel: New ICCT tests show that at least for the popular compact class segment and smaller vehicle segments, (a total market share of around 55 per cent in Europe) a modern gasoline-powered car has either the same or even lower CO2 values than a comparable diesel passenger car.
