Decarbonizing Medium- & Heavy-Duty On-Road Vehicles: Zero-Emission Vehicles Cost Analysis

The US Department of Energy has released a new study that says medium- and heavy-duty electric trucks are expected to be cheaper to buy, operate and maintain than their diesel counterparts by 2035. Smaller battery-electric trucks are expected to become cost-competitive before 2030.
