Video tip: Tesla presents a snaking prototype of its robotic EV charger recently announced on Twitter. While the initially described “solid metal snake” looks rather phallic, it seems to work. The following video demonstrates how the snake finds the hole and charges the Model S.

Electrified World Record Tour.

More than 14,000 kilometres in 14 days is what the group behind the “Electrified World Record Tour” wants to complete in their four Tesla Model S. They are also attempting a world record, hoping to drive 6,600 km from Tarifa in Spain to the North Cape in Norway in less than 96 hours and with less than 22 hours spent on charging time.
