Reading tip: Environmental organisation ICCT has evaluated data of public authorities and other agencies in Europe about 541 diesel cars with Euro 5 and 6 standard. According to their results, Euro 6 diesel cars are in average 4.5 times above the nitrogen oxide limit. Just 10 percent of them stay under the given threshold.

EV sales in China boom.
A total of 44,000 plug-ins were sold in China in October. And even more impressive: 39,000 were pure electric cars. Overall, that’s an 8.1 percent increase in PEV sales compared to the same time last year.
