Polestar to track CO2 throughout supply chain

Polestar has entered into a strategic partnership with blockchain provider Circulor. One element of the partnership is the tracking of CO2 equivalents through the supply chain. This is intended to help achieve Polestar’s goal of building a carbon-neutral car by 2030.

Volvo targets 60% EV production in Ghent by 2022

Volvo Cars is tripling the production capacity for electric cars at its plant in Ghent, Belgium. By 2022, electric cars are to account for around 60 per cent of total production capacity there. Volvo confirms small electric car on Lynk& Co. platform

According to CEO Håkan Samuelsson, Volvo will also use the new SEA (Sustainable Experience Architecture) EV platform recently presented by the fellow Geely brand Lynk & Co. The incoming compact model below the XC40 will be the first Volvo based on this platform.

Polestar showcar Precept to make it into the series
