Rabbit Publishing GmbH (hereinafter referred to as the organizer) will provide a raffle/draw as part of a Christmas mailing. Participation in the accompanying draw is determined according to the following Conditions of Participation.
Organizer
The draw will be hosted by Rabbit Publishing GmbH, Rosenthaler Straße 34/35. 10178 Berlin, Germany.
Duration of the Competition
The duration of the contest will take place from the 12.12.2017 until the 12.01.2018, 23:59 o’clock. Within this time frame, users have the possibility to participate in the competition online.
Participation requirements
Participation in the raffle is free of charge and independent of the acquisition of goods or services. The draw will only include participants that have subscribed for a newsletter service of Rabbit Publishing GmbH. The draw will be made from all submissions and is guaranteed to follow the principle of chance. Each participant can only win once. Cash payment or transfer of the prize to other persons is excluded. The winners will be notified by Rabbit Publishing via email. Should the winner fail to confirm the win to Rabbit Publishing in writing (via letter, fax or email) within 3 weeks of receiving the notification, the claim to the win is forfeited and a replacement winner will be drawn following the same procedure. The winner will be informed explicitly of this requirement once again in the notification of the win. The participant is responsible for the correctness of the address provided.
Eligibility
All persons aged 14 and above are eligible to participate. Employees of Rabbit Publishing GmbH and their connected companies and raffle partners, including the relatives of the aforementioned groups, are excluded from participation. The organizer reserves the right to exclude individuals from participation in so far as there are legitimate reasons for doing so (e.g. breach of the Conditions of Participation, double participation, undue influence on the raffle, manipulation, etc.). In such cases, winnings can subsequently be denied and reclaimed, if necessary.
Prizes, notification and transfer of the winnings
Following prizes will be awarded:
- 1 Place: 1 x Apple Watch
- 2 Place: 1 x Voucher for PlugSurfing valued at 50 EUR
- 3 Place: 1 x Voucher for PlugSurfing valued at 25 EUR
The selection of the winners will take place after the completion of the designated time period and will be drawn at random from all participants. The winners will be duly informed via an email confirmation of their winnings. The handover of the win will take place only with the winner themselves, or their designated legal guardian. A trade-in of the winnings or a cash payment are not possible. Possible costs arising from the transport of the winnings will be taken over by the organizer. By accepting the prize, participants agree to take over any other incurring costs related to the prizes. Taxation of the winnings is also the responsibility of the winner. If the winner does not respond after 2 email notifications and a period of 3 weeks, the prize may be transferred to another participant.
Changes to the rules of participation and ending the raffle
The organizer reserves the right to alter the Conditions of Participation at any time. Furthermore, the organizer reserves the right to end or cancel the raffle and/or draw at any time for good cause without prior notice. This particularly applies to reasons that may disrupt or prevent the planned proceedings of the raffle/draw.
Data protection
The protection of personal data is very important to Rabbit Publishing GmbH. The organizer collects, processes, uses and saves the data entered by a participant. Registration data will not be used for further purposes by the promoter or a third party without the express consent of the participant.
The participant is free at any time to have their registration data deleted at any time by sending a revocation request to subscribe@electrive.com
There is no right of appeal regarding the raffle/draw.

Severability Clause
Should any of the conditions of this competition be or become completely or partially ineffective, the competition will remain unaffected.
