Electric car sales in the U.S.

Exactly 45,775 vehicles with [partially] electric drivetrains were newly registered in the U.S. in December. While the number of plug-in hybrids (5,434) rose compared to November, pure EVs (7,954) and pure hybrids (32,387) did not do as well as in the prior month. BMW reported having sold a total of 11,024 of its all-electric i3 across the States in 2015.
