VL Automotive is expecting to turn as much as 1,000 Fisker Karma into Destinos by removing the PHEV drivetrain and replacing it with a supercharged V8 with 638 hp. A lot of Karma owners show huge interest in having their plug-in hybrids de-electrified, says Gilbert Villarreal, manufacturing engineer at VL Automotive.
