Wireless connection: Hella and Vahle officially announced their cooperation to develop inductive charging systems for EVs. The two companies will also address infrastructural and technological challenges like interferences which the wireless energy transfer could have on other on-board electronics.

UQM will deliver its electric motors which will then be combined with KDS’ multi-speed transmissions.

Taiwanese e-bike system: GreenTrans further developed its central motor system which was presented at Taipei Cycle Show. The motor comes with the company’s own torque sensor as well as battery and can also be used in speed pedelecs.
