Electric vehicles in UK.

Only 3,000 electric vehicles are currently found on London’s street – a far cry from the Mayor’s aim to have 100,000 EVs in the British capital by 2020. The charge point situation appears similarly patchy with only 1,048 in operation, while 25,000 were planned for 2015. The scientific community however, was quick to pick up, as almost 60% of 116 universities have at least one EV, making 7.73% of their fleet fully electric.
