Metron 7 sets new record.

Driving 513 miles (836 kilometers) on one charge, the Metron 7 of the Slovenian Metron Institute has inofficially set a new record at the WAVE 2015, beating the 457 miles the team accomplished last October. The converted all-electric Mazda 5 mini van that is equipped with a built-in 86-kWh battery pack and a 22-kWh external pack that can charge the built-in pack while driving.
