DeltaWing goes all-electric: Don Panoz wants the DeltaWing GT chassis to be fitted with compact direct-drive electric motors. His company Braselton and the Georgia Institute of Technology are six months into a programme to realize exactly that. If successful, the vehicle could be submitted as a future Garage 56 entry at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Fuel cell racer announced: GreenGT will present its GreenGT H2 during the French leg of the FIA WTCC on Saturday. The racer features a 400 kW fuel cell stack developed by SymbioFCell and is propelled by two 200 kW electric motors, delivering a whopping 4,000 Nm of torque.
