NextEV spokeswoman Jili Liu says their first model will boast 1,000 hp and accelerate form 0 to 100 kph in under 3 seconds. The electric sportscar is said to debut next year, followed by a range of high-performance family EVs.

David Lammy, Labour MP and 2016 mayoral candidate in London, criticises current mayor Bros Johnson for wanting to continue to invest in fracking. Lammy wants to invest more in cycling and expand electric car hire.
