Advanced Urban Vehicle: The ZF group will present its fully electric vehicle at the upcoming IAA. The Advanced Urban Vehicle features the electric rear-wheel drive eTB (electric Twist Beam). The car can drive semi-autonomously via the Smart Parking Assist and PreVision Cloud Assist. It is Cloud-connected and can be seen in action on the open-air grounds F12.
The best innovations are electric if one believes the top 100 list by the Center of Automotive Management (CAM). It looks at inventions by global OEMs over the past ten years. Toyota takes the crown with its Mirai, followed by the Tesla Model S and again Toyota with its Prius plug-in.
