Google co-founder Sergej Brin reassures established manufacturers that the IT giant is looking to collaborate to market its autonomous EV.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk comments on the Danish government’s decision to scrap the tax exemption for electric cars (we reported yesterday). The move would increase EV prices by 180 percent.

Lord-Drayson“I think we should have things like a car scrappage scheme where people who want to trade in their diesel get an electrical car or hybrid. I think that’s something the government should support.”

Lord Drayson, British entrepreneur and former science minister on the UK’s tax break for diesel introduced in 2001. Back then, diesel cars were believed to be cleaner. Drayson called for quick action to reverse the misguided policy.
