Elon Musk seems a bit shocked about how people push Tesla’s autopilot function to its limits. Musk continued to explain that the system (a beta release) is learning fast. Nevertheless, it remains to be seen what humans make of it.

Niels Möller, who works for Volvo’s performance label Polestar, gives hybrids a clear thumbs up. He also looks at the technology from a different angle than conventional carmakers. After all, it is the power of a sports car that counts, not its range.

Cho-Nam-Seong“We will bring up Xi’an plant to become the world center of EV battery industry.”

Samsung SDI CEO Cho Nam Seong comments on the recently opened battery facility in China with a planned annual output of power packs for 40,000 EV. By 2020, Samsung expects to have invested an additional 600m dollars in the site.
