Some 5,740 BEVs were sold in the U.S. in October; slight drop of 7.7 percent compared to the same month last year. Sales of plug-in hybrid vehicles are up with 4,081 units (+9,3%) finding a buyer. HEV sales remained constant, as 30,489 units rolled of the lots (-1,3%). Meanwhile, GM sold its 100,000th Volt.
