UK transport minister Andrew Jones compares EV uptake to that of the internet in its early stages – it was a niche product. Still, he says the country will continue to fund the number of chargers at home and on the street to push for more electrification.

Audi top labour representative Peter Mosch criticises the carmaker’s decision to move the production of its all-electric SUV to Belgium. The e-tron quattro sport-utility vehicle is said to be produced in Brussels from 2018.
