Diesel car sales drop in the U.S.

Sales of Mercedes’ diesel cars in the U.S. dropped 65 percent in January compared to the same month last year. BMW experienced a 62% drop in diesel sales. It means that the VW diesel scandal also had an effect on other German manufactures. And lest not forget: unlike in Germany, diesel is not subsidized in the U.S.
