Ding Lei, head of LeEco’s car development, dares to dream big and has every reason to do so as already three mayor manufacturers (BAIC Motor, BYD and Dongfeng Motor) have signed up to cooperate on the company’s connectivity technology.
“What we expected as far as charging infrastructure versus what we were delivered just hasn’t added up. We’re just not able to keep the cars charged, and people aren’t able to charge them on their own.”
