In India, 20,000 electric two-wheelers were sold from March 2015 to March 2016. They are largely responsible for the overall increase electric vehicle sales for the first time in four years – from last year’s 16,000 to 22,000 in 2016, as another 2,000 electric cars joined the LEV.
