The Dutch bought 276,000 electric bicycles last year, a 24 percent increase compared to 2014. With 3,571 units sold, the relatively new S-Pedelec segment saw the biggest growth (up 44%). Germany remains the biggest e-bike market in terms of numbers with 535,000 units sold – 11,5% more than in 2014.
